For us at COPAGAZ the year 2006 was marked by valuable experiences and accomplishments. The LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) market remained stable in Brazil and COPAGAZ maintained its market share. For
2007, we are getting ready for additional growth through more accomplishments in the sector, aiming
to reach new markets.

Among the advances in Corporate Social Responsibility, we have reached two milestones: the institution of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, whose members’ daily duties consist of inputting values and concepts of the RSC into the company’s operations, and the development and implementation of the Program for the Adoption of Social and Environmental Principles – PAPS COPAGAZ, aimed at sharing and spreading knowledge regarding the values and practices of RSC with our resellers, which currently consist of more than 2.000 companies distributed throughout Brazil. COPAGAZ is permanently committed to improving its role in spreading the principles and values it believes in, contributing to its strengthening, in addition to establishing, building and sharing these values with commercial and industrial partners, employees, suppliers, resellers, service providers and society at large.

Thus, in continuing to emphasize our strategy of acting with social responsibility, it is with great
pleasure that we present our Social and Environmental Report, through which COPAGAZ joins a group of companies who have adopted the guidelines of the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), an international institution that works in developing universal frameworks for sustainability reports, taking into account social, environmental and economic factors.
